ILLUMINATED SAILPAST AND
FIREWORKS EXTRAVAGANZA
The Illuminated Sailpast will commence at 9pm. The content of the sailpast is always a surprise, even to the Regatta Committee.
The boats are organised and crewed by members of the Middle Thames Yacht Club.
Recent features have included a windmill, Father Christmas and even Bob the Builder!
Once the Illuminated Boat sailpast has finished and all boats are moored, the scene is set for the Fireworks display.
The fireworks take place over the river, and form a magical display which is reflected in the water.
The display normally lasts for around 20 minutes.
